I am laid back and easy going, but I also have a side to me that, when confronted with an issue I want to know more about or a problem I cannot fix right away, comes out and is tenacious and refuses to give up. Quit is not in my vocabulary. I was one of the first females to serve in a Forward Support Batallion in the 82nd Airborne Division and so I had to be that way.
But for the most part I am concentrating, now, on trying to begin self-publishing my own independent newspaper. I decided a while back, if I wanted to truly become a real and FREE (as in "freedom from censorship") journalist, but save my soul by not selling out then I needed to simply publish my own newspaper. I am always looking for advice from people who write, particularly about travel (mostly to lesser known areas as opposed to tourist destinations), and politics, especially with the upcoming presidential election. I can always use all the pointers and advice I can get!
Other than that, I spend most of my time reading and educating myself about whatever subjects happen to interest me. I also hope to be back in school in Spring 2009 to finish what I have left to do for my Bachelor's degree.
I spend my free time going to the beach (what else is there in hawaii after all??), and just basically living a pretty cool life.
ONCE AGAIN, PLEASE....
